Chris Cunningham, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Partner Technology has a lot to be proud of. His company is well on its way to becoming Northeast Georgia's dominant Smart Home Provider providing homebuyers with electronic systems for entertainment, safety, education and convenience. Partner Technology provides and installs products to maximize livability and productivity in the home via technology based electronic systems. Founded in 2004, this former one-man operation has grown to employ eight people.
Mr. Cunningham's passion for the Smart Home Concept has developed over his 14 year career in electronics and technology systems. He started his career in retail learning valuable customer and managerial skills in various roles including Sales, Sales Support, and Operations Manager.
After leaving the retail business Chris was an Account Executive for a privately held security systems and structured wiring company with revenues in excess of $5 million per year. He served in key leadership roles with the company for several years, developing new business and maintaining existing accounts. Chris created and implemented a sales and marketing strategy, had direct oversight of the new construction division and assisted executive management in budgeting and sales forecasting. Mr. Cunningham turned an unprofitable division (new construction sales) around profitably and became the lifeblood of the security business, increasing revenues from $700,000 to in excess of $2.5 million per year.
In 2004, Chris had the vision to see how technology was pulling all the various electronic fields into an integrated linked package of security, entertainment, electronics, and convenience creating what is now known as the Smart Home and launched Partner Technology to join and lead the evolution of this technology into the next decade.
Mr. Cunningham's vision for Partner Technology is simple; to offer the customer a single interface for the Smart Home with a comprehensive range of electronic and interfacing technology by acting as the "Technology Partner" between the customer and suppliers of devices, products, and services. Partner Technology welcomes Homeowners and Homebuilders who rely on expert installations and the ability to provide sustaining support and service for their new Smart Homes.
A licensed low voltage contractor, Wes has 16 years of experience working in the alarm and cable/satellite television industry with low voltage installations and service. Wes has served as a subcontractor as well as a service technician for Ezzard, ADT and Brinks Home Security, as well as a new construction foreman and installation technician prior to joining the Partner Technology team.
Wes is a low voltage contractor licensed by the state of Georgia and received telecommunication training, earning certificates in installation, trenching and shoring and excavation safety, safe pole climbing and ladder handling, copper cable splicing and repair, first aid basics, man hole and vault safety and transportation specialists in aerial lift and cable placing vehicles. He is trained in home automation (Control 4), a CEDIA Certified Installer Level 1 and NBFAA certified.
Chris has been in Sales and Management for over 10 years. As Service and Sales Manager for American Health Consultants in Atlanta, he started with a staff of 6 and sales of $800,000 to a staff of 16 with sales in excess of $5 million six years later. In the last 5 years as General Manager of Global Escapes in Athens, Chris has helped increase revenues to multiple seven figures.
At Partner Technology, Chris will focus on managing Sales growth particularly in the area of new residential construction.
Chris is a graduate from the University of Alabama where he earned his Bachelors degree in Business.
